My boss sat me down last month and told me that I need to come to work no matter what or I will lose my job. It really hit me hard because I have had back problems for a long time and I cannot get out of bed days at a time. But I knew he was right. I said as much to him, and then he told me that I really should take a look at some of the Round Rock chiropractors that are nearby and see if they could help me. That was not something that I had even thought about before, and I was embarrassed to realize that I hadn’t. I needed to do something about my back problems, so I told him I would get on it right away.
Usually what happens is that I can tell that I’m about to have a flare up. A small amount of pain will radiate through my back for several days until the pain becomes so bad that it hurts just move. It’s those days that I end up laying in bed all day. It is frustrating because it means that I can’t take care of my home. It also means that I can’t go to work or make any money. This is not fair. I’m too young to have that sort of thing happening to me all the time. What’s worse is that this usually goes on for about 4 to 6 days at a time.
When I found a good chiropractor to go to, I told him about how much work I have been missing. I told him that the painkillers that I had been using for years we’re not really working for me anymore and I was at my Wit’s End. I asked him if there was anything that he could do for me that would actually work. He told me that he would do his best, and that’s exactly what he did. I no longer have any of the same problems that I went through four years.
I will admit that I was afraid to go to a chiropractor at first. I really did not know a lot about this kind of medical professional, and I honestly had misjudged nearly everything about them, from their education to their techniques. It was not something that I did on purpose, and I am really glad that I decided to research more about them when my doctor said I could possibly benefit from adding this type of professional to my medical team. I did a search for a chiropractor in Petaluma first, to find one that is located relatively close to me.
After finding a chiropractor who is only about six miles away, I decided to look at their website along at an unbiased website about chiropractic care in general. To say I was shocked when I read this would be an understatement. I had no idea that someone who wants to be a chiropractor must go to school just like a medical doctor. It is not a two year or even a four year degree. Continue reading I Really Misjudged Chiropractic Care
When I had my first chiropractic adjustment done, I honestly thought it was going to hurt like the dickens. I had never been to this type of doctor before, and I just didn’t know what to expect. I do trust my primary care physician though, so I had no problems going to the chiropractor in Huntington NY that he recommended for me to see. He knew that I was adamant about not having back surgery, and I also did not want to live on pain pills for the rest of my life.
I thought that I was stuck with the pain that I have had in my lower back for as long as I can remember. He seemed to think a trip to the same chiropractor that he uses could be helpful to me though. Like I said, I trust him, so I made the appointment. Continue reading I Cannot Remember the Last Time I Felt This Great
I got a job painting bridges. I had some high-angle rescue training, and I have been a commercial painter for years. So, learning to paint bridges was pretty easy for me. I am not afraid of heights. However, I was used to working with brushes and rollers, and now I was using a big spray gun that was attached to a very long and heavy hose. The new movements for eight hours a day on the job along with the different equipment made my back hurt. I figured I should see a chiropractor in the San Francisco area to get evaluated after the back pain would not ease up after working a couple of weeks on the job.
My upper back really ached all night when I got home from work. I could get some of the kinks out doing the work, but my muscles and back would stiffen up and hurt like crazy during my time off. I was taking ibuprofen every day to help me manage the pain. Continue reading New Job Lead to Back Pain That Sent Me to a Chiropractor
